The BGP Management
Since 1 October 2017 Worna Zohari is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the BGP Group.
Worna Zohari, 47, studied real estate economics at the European Business School (EBS) and has been active in the real estate industry in a number of management positions for more than 20 years. After heading a branch of Viterra AG (now Vonovia) through to 2004, he advised international investors on the purchase of various portfolios and housing associations. In 2005 Zohari was appointed to the Senior Management Board of the Gagfah Group, at that time the largest publicly-listed real estate group in Germany with some 200,000 apartments. From 2010 onwards he was the managing director of Dunios Capital, a successful real estate investor as well as asset and property manager.
Zohari has taught at a number of academies and universities since 2004, and is also a regular lecturer at the European Business School in Wiesbaden/Oestrich-Winkel. Furthermore, he is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a member of the board of examiners of the RICS.
CFO and Director
Fabian John has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the BGP Group since 1 September 2018 and Managing Director of the Group’s operational subsidiaries since April 2018.
Mr. John completed his studies at the University of Cologne (Dipl. Kfm.), the Haskayne School of Business in Calgary, Canada, and the HEC Paris. He also holds a CEMS Master in International Management (MIM). Since 2011, he has been teaching on the University of Regensburg’s Financial Modeling and Valuation course.
Fabian John has held an extensive range of management roles with various real estate and finance companies for over ten years. After working in Real Estate Investment Banking at Sal. Oppenheim and various management positions in finance and corporate development at IVG Immobilen AG, Mr. John was most recently CFO of OFFICEFIRST Immobilien AG.
General Counsel, CCO and Director
Celine Meißner has been General Counsel (Head of Legal Affairs) and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of the BGP Group since 1 October 2018. She was also appointed to the Board of Directors of the Group’s operational subsidiaries in November 2018.
Ms. Meißner studied law at the University of Bochum and also holds a Masters in Law (LLM) from Nottingham Trent University. After various positions as a lawyer, including at Gleiss Lutz, she most recently worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP for eight years. She specialises in real estate, company law, tenancy and public construction law.
